Free vehicle identification uses manufacturer-reported VIN decode data via NHTSA vPIC where available.

US license plate → VIN resolution uses CarAPI.dev where configured and supported.

Paid vehicle history is supplied by a configurable history data provider. Until a production provider is configured, commercial report generation is not available in production.
